Defunct Games takes a look back in time to see what critics thought of Battletoads on the Nintendo Entertainment System back in 1991. Were critics into this 8-bit beat-em-up when it first came out, or did the Turbo Tunnel get the best of them? Defunct Games dig through old issues of GamePro, CVG, Nintendo Power and Electronic Gaming Monthly for the answers.
A game that had been thought cancelled or at the very least in development hell, Rare’s Everwild has resurfaced of late – first through comments last week on Jez Corden & Rand Al Thor’s Xbox Two podcast that it was finally “progressing well”. We’ve now had confirmation from Phil Spencer himself that Everwild is indeed still in active development, and is in a playable state.
Showcase or Xbox direct 2025? NGL MS has been revealing better lookin games since Everwild. They shouldn't of announced the game so early (5 years prior)
Either way I'll keep an eye on this game as I'm. More curious than anything.
Idk every time I hear news of Phil goes and plays a game it never turns out good lol.
Crackdown, redfall etc lol.
This is like the madden curse. When ever a team is put on the cover they do bad. Example look at 49ers this year lol.
If this game does bad the Phil curse is real lol
Rare, the developer behind pirate adventure Sea of Thieves, has introduced a dedicated dog park to its studio grounds for employees' good boys and girls.
Nice thing they did, but not actually gaming related, not sure why this article was approved. Also strange informing us what game Rare worked on, as if we don't know their legacy.
I went to look at new apartments and saw only dog parks, no kid parks. We're so screwed.
You need a reason to fight the good fight. In video games, some of the best antagonists have been female perpetrators.
