EA are to stop The Sims 2 support

The Sims 2 has been around for the last 10 years and only now has EA decided to stop giving it technical support, starting on the 22nd of July. Sims 2 players who own the digital version via Origin will be provided with The Sims 2 – Ultimate Collection for free. This includes all the expansion packs and stuff packs that have been released over its 10 year cycle.
