Showtime Review (PC) – CalmDownTom
"Many moons ago (2003) I played a text based movie studio game (the name escapes me) very similar to this. The main difference was that the actors and crew had some level of AI. The best actor would not accept a job from your little studio that had made no films yet. It’s similar to how you cannot get Lionel Messi to play for your third division Scottish team at the beginning of a football manager game – you need to build up to it. Showtime! allows you to hire the best talent straight away with no wooing, writing roles specifically for actors, no proving your studio is worthy or anything. The actors don’t make demands, refuse to do nudity or profanity or anything like that; you just pay the amount on the screen and that’s it!" Says CalmDownTom
