The Web Graffiti: "One of the most important aspects of playing video games, is the ability to jump online and enjoy a video game with strangers from all across the world. While this is fun, there are times when some gamers just want to play with folks in their own age group, and unfortunately, this is not available on either Xbox Live or PSN."
AMD CEO Lisa Su talks about the Xbox AMD partnership, next-gen Ryzen + Radeon chips, and AI rendering tech coming to all Xbox devices.
AMD is really building hype around their unique partnership with Microsoft to help and build an advanced and seamless Xbox ecosystem across all Xbox consoles and devices.
I wonder what she meant by "full roadmap of gaming optimized chips" though? Seems ambitious.
Next year´s Xbox Showcase already looks promising and exciting. Here´s hoping they deliver.
Some odd, deliberate wording, no branding, not 'Xbox consoles, Xbox handhelds' specifically, feels and sounds like they're building towards hardware that anyone can be used or licensed to/by themselves and other manufacturers.
Multiplatform software and hardware 'Xbox/AMD APU'.
Shares vision....we provide chips for money, this deal will sell many chips, we will make lots of money...good vision
The marketing behind this is so heavy that I worry about the actual outcome. Why are they just not showing us the product, why all this talking in market speak?
With the launch of Call of Duty Season 4, Activision quietly put adverts inside loadouts for Black Ops 6 and Warzone, sparking a backlash in the process.
Putting Ads in a pay-to-play Premium title? Well done Microsoft. Well done /s This is really scummy.
Xbox's handheld ambitions continue unabated, but the focus is shifting towards improving Windows 11 for third-party handhelds — for now. The Xbox Series X 'Melrose' successor is safe, with development continuing at full pace.
Funny to see the alt already damage controlling and having a meltdown with multiple accounts in the comments already.
Sad for MS if true, a dedicated handheld would go down a lot better than a rog ally 2 with an Xbox sticker on it I think.
impractical idea. I love it but it will never happen , the consoles dont ask for your personal ID everytime you start it up and as such you can lie about your age. So yea i don't want any company to invest time and money in something that can easily be avoided
Actually, this is available for the Xbox One via the new Smart Matchmaking feature Major Nelson described last year. People seem to forget about it. It is up to developers to take advantage if it, though.
I think this all boils down to who you add to your friends list. I started playing a 12 year kid on ghost recon 2 on the 1st xbox and while the people my age were giving him a hard time ,I stuck up for him because he wasn't a foul mouthed screaming brat like you find on todays consoles!
After all these years he is now in his mid 20's and still on my friends list! Love ya like a brother Ross!
After awhile, you will know how old the group of people are when you join a game. Play ANY cod game and you will know what I mean I deal with these young, bratty, and ME,ME,ME kids 11 months of the year and sure don't want to play games with them and listen to there dirty mouths while on MY relax and unwind time.
There are web sites and social groups out there for you to join. Google your age group for gamers that your looking to play with.
One of my rules to live by when you can't avoid these kids,is to just MUTE them! Oh and report them when the need arises.
I think it's a good idea since I'm a parent myself. It's not just a matter of convenience for us adults not being annoyed by potty mouthed kids but also protects young gamers from some adults who use gaming to prey on children.
I thought you had to be 18+ to play COD or Battlefield? How are these children getting hold of the game in the first place?
