Spyro The Dragon Review
Spyro the Dragon was the beginning of one of Sony Computer Entertainment’s flagship enterprises. It was released in late 1998 on the PlayStation 1 console and is a 3D 3rd person platforming game developed by Insomniac Games. When it released, it was rated quite high for its innovative controls, 3D textures/modeling, character design, story, and music.
It is very hard to find someone who has not played one of the Spyro games in their lifetime, as it made huge commercial success in the 90’s and has a cult following, still today, with its spin-off series Skylanders. Little did people know, that our favorite purple dragon would be in multi-platforms and spin-offs 16 years later.
