If I could only have 10 video games

GotGame: Steam sales, Humble Bundles, GoG, Amazon, and even traditional retailers have made it easier than ever for the common man or woman to build a gaming empire in his or her own basement. The digital age has made our culture one of excess, long distanced from a past when a single dresser drawer could contain the average collection. What would happen if this now familiar excess ceased to be an option?

Oh man... here comes a rabid fanboy who is clearly beyond the point of no return. Not only is his SN a game that's not out yet, but half of the games he lists aren't even out yet. I'd hate to be stuck with that list after a few of those titles end up being complete failures.

I'd love to be able to see the future like you can. It would have made making that list a lot easier. How can you make any assumptions about something that hasn't come out yet? I am a rabid fanboy beyond the point of no return because I know what genres I like and those games fall into that genre? I'd rather be hopeful to the future than have a negative attitude towards progress and possibility.

I might be going out on a limb with Deep Down, but if it is indeed going to be like a Souls-esque combat system mixed with random dungeon and enemy layouts with RPG elements like rogue then what will there be not to like?

And I'm from the days where buying a new game was usually always a gamble. So, here I am taking my last theoretical chance at the satisfaction of discovering a great game from a gut instinct and some screenshots.

Luckily for me though this scenario isn't happening.
