I was one of the skeptical people when this game was being remade. I had a friend that was big into FF11, Tebian, and he talked about the flaws in FF14 but said it had a lot of potential if they fixed everything.

Well I have been playing the game since it came to ps4 for over 2 months now and I have to say I am loving the game. Trying out the latest patch and so far so good. I can see myself playing this game for a few more months at least and I definitely feel like I am getting my money worth out of the game. So yeah, FF14 definitely worth playing.

Couldn't agree more. It also feels great playing on a controller, I know a few people who play the PC version with their controller instead and they are perfectly fine. It's rare for an MMO to really nail the control scheme like that on console.

How does the control scheme feel for you?

Works great with the DS4! I still use a keyboard for chat but it feels right at home with a controller!

I only play the game on my controller and I am doing great. I have lvl 50 blm and multiple crafting jobs. The controller works great for high level combat and I can set up macros for my crafting stuff very quickly. So yeah I am happy using the controller.

Great read. I could not agree more. Ive been playing since the first beta on ps3 now on ps4 and the game is pure joy. As long as SE continues to support with new content ill continue to play.

I'm excited for 2.4 and the Rogue + Ninja addition. Will be interesting to see how that effects the game as a whole though, I would imagine a lot of people will be Ninjas for a while.
