Killzone: Shadow Fall Gets a Major Price Drop on Amazon

Junkie Monkeys: Have you been thinking about playing Killzone: Shadow Fall? Amazon is currently selling the PS4 exclusive for a really low price.

Is the online community strong? i am a huge KZ fan and would like to give this a try.

It doesn't have the amount of people playing like cod or bf, but it's big enough to where your always get into a game with a decent amount of people in it. MP is great and the new co-op mode is a good edition to the game.

Sometimes. You can always find some games, but there are days when lots are playing, and days where it's kinda slim. You'll most likely be playing with veterans, but the game is really balanced well with all weapons (except a few unique exceptions like specialty grenades) being unlocked from the get go, so with the exception of the unlockable perks and not knowing the maps, even a noob can jump in and play.

Some of the maps are from previous Killzone games, so that's good for people who played the previous. Personally, I think it's worth it for the campaign alone. Reviews were crap... I thought the campaign was miles ahead of Ghosts and Battlefield 4. It has some really unique moments. I can never tell someone how to spend their money, but if I had to buy it again, I would.

I agree that 1000-2000 people is a disappointing number, but if its possible to consistently find full games then it doesn't really matter.

Been playing it without problems so far. Just finished the campaign. It has some amazing moments. The story is "meh" but man, the experience is amazing. Plus, I love the mp because I played a lot of KZ2 but thankfully, the controls aren't as heavy.

They're is about 2000 people online at peak, late at night under 1000. When you consider it sold over 2 million copies those are horrible numbers. Multiplayer will be on PS + in a few months like Uncharted on ps3.

I haven't played through the story mode yet but the MP is very well done. Too many people are sleeping on the multi player mode in this game and it keeps getting better. with new maps and updates.

No, please dont. Worst game I've ever bought. There are less than 2000 people playing everytime, yes I said 2.000 not 20.000. Haven't seen anything above 2000 since launchday. The game is just too boring.

It's a mix between KZ 3 &KZ 2, the worst things about the multiplayer is that it has maybe 2000 people in it ( that's all modes included ), most people do nothing but use the under-barrel grenade launcher ( 1 hit kill), & the biggest problem is the maps are too small ( even in warzone mode) so it's literally almost every game you & your team will be spawn trapped by the entire team. Spawn trapping would not be bad but there are usually only 3 exits to your base and people put a crap ton of turrets and air drones in front of your base and like I said a bunch of noobtubers .

It's definitely a fall off from 2 no doubt but definitely not the worst game. It's like kz3 on cod maps. Co-op IMO is where it's at ( great mode) but hardly anyone plays it. KZ does look great and the multiplayer is a smooth consistent 60fps (now). 7.0-7.5 is the rating I'd give it due to playing all other KZ's. Hope this helps.

Yo. Your team SUUUUCKS if they get spawn camped. One of ya need to man up and place a beacon and protect it with a couple air turrets/turrets. Assault has Stun blast and Scout has Stun drone to kill the turrets. Seriously, most of the things people complain about is due to the absence of any type of Communication or teamwork. I feel the maps are sized fine but That's just Imo. My complaint is That the KZ2/3 weapons they put in there are OP. The Sta outclasses all of the semi-automatics and the old Assault rifle is way better than most of the supports weapons. That and the support class is a bit too easy to play, maybe even OP and some of the new gadgets (tactical echo) makes the scout's usefulness dim.Scout needs a buff.

At disagrees, say what you want but facts are facts. I NEVER overhype/undermine a game period. I just state facts and am critical of any game I play. For example, I wouldNt give Infamous nothing higher than an 7.5-8.0 because content wise that game is terrible and provides no side missions & longevity .So like I said its a 7.0-7.5, this is comparing it to the older KZs to a degree while grading the game how it is by itself, my rating is the only thing that's opinionated otherwise it's fact.

@ dc, what do you expect when it's a bunch of randoms kid and btw as stated not a lot of people play this game and even if you have a team of your own, it does nothing at all when there's so many of you and an entire team spawn trapping with turrets, air drones, & noobtubes. All of that makes the game rather dull mainly due to the map size whether you Can admit it or not. Btw you should speak for yourself when you go around assuming people suck just because you yourself feel like you're so good. Next time don't assume how I play ( considering I've been playing KZ since KZ1) and I can admit the game is not nearly as good as 2 and right under 3 and most long time players agree.

This is excellent news for those who want to get a good solid MP FPS for PS4. Still playing MP. Games are pretty intense but fair (apart from grenade launcher). I really enjoy playing against experienced teams & breaking their tactics LoL
