Oculus Rift Support Confirmed for Rock Simulator 2014

VRFocus - Following success of Goat Simulator earlier this year the videogame industry has seen a huge increase in the amount of comedic titles that share the Simulator name. The latest of these is Rock Simulator 2014 from developer Ryan Schultz. This is another slapstick videogame, based around simply being able to interact with a perfectly ordinary rock, and it’s set to arrive with full support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) headset.

The story is too old to be commented.

"Now experience the most immersive simulation of a rock's life".

If they made they game about what can be done with a rock, but from the rocks perspective this could actually work.

It's probably not that "deep" though.

I can't wait to get thrown at a City Bus that passed a passenger and feel the immersion of crashing through a window while wearing the Rift and viewing this all from the 3D Virtual Reality perspective of the ROCK.

This is the evolution of gaming and simulation.

"Finally The ROCK has come back to the PC"

sorry I could not resist lol!!!

Next will be grass simulator and then dust simulator.

Or a N4G Troll Simulator. And it would just be your account through VR.

I bet this will be awesome to play in 4k....=P

Bathyj1667d ago

Man, it would almost be like starring at a real rock.

You need a high end PC with 5 titan gpu to be able to run this on minimum settings. ;)

@battousai. Well, excuuuussee me princess!!!

Kenshin_BATT0USAI1667d ago

Bad joke. There are more powerful GPUs available now. Also 5-way SLi isn't possible.

Perjoss1667d ago

Try saying that to Doc Emmett Brown without him laughing your face off!

Kenshin_BATT0USAI1666d ago (Edited 1666d ago )

You know, if he laughed at me, I wouldn't be sure if he was just crazy, or had a good reason to laugh at me. It would probably be the former.

you're excused...for life.
