Project Morpheus Title Coming from Silent Hill Dev

VRFocus - Silent Hill: Shattered Memories and Silent Hill: Origins developer Climax Studios is already familiar with the PlayStation 4. Earlier this year the team released Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition, updating Housemarque's original PlayStation 3 title for the new console. In 2013 the developer revealed that it had two PlayStation 4 projects in development, and it looks like the second one could feature support for the Project Morpheus virtual reality (VR) headset.

The story is too old to be commented.

Morpheus will be amazing. It seems like it wont really kick off until the Ps5 though.wider field of vision is needed, and better graphics would help

How won't it kick off till ps5 when the ps4 pad is built round the morpheus

just the power to run vr is going to need something rewlly really powerful.

sony is telling devs to aim for graphics similar to ps3 then slowly upgrade. since a solid 60hz is needed.

one option they are demonstrating is the inclusion of an external processor which will do the VR calculations so that the PS4 can be left to do the game itself. They already showed this in their prototype where the headset goes through an external box (notice they didn't include in into the headset, in case an upgrade is needed) which then connects to the PS4. So there are ways around it. Cost is the only issue.

I think what he means is the real blockbuster stuff from project morpheus won't happen till ps5, I kinda agree but that's not to say the ps4 won't have its fair share of awesomeness. Day 1 for me anyway.

Eve: Valkarie on Morpheous looks and (from hands on from many people that have played it) seems to be quite good.

probably won't be what we want it to be until ps5 with a morpheus v2. however it will most likely be entertaining as hell until then :)
