Twinfinite writes: A small list of games that will be available for play at the 2014 Eurogamer Expo has been released to the public, revealing what is supposedly only a small selection. More games and announcements will be made in the next three months leading up to the event, but this list is certainly an exciting one.
EGX or the artist formerly known as the EuroGamer Expo is the biggest date in the calendar year for gamers here in the UK. It has a simple ethos of offering the opportunity to play the biggest console & PC games before they’re released whilst the developer sessions bring attendees face-to-face with leading designers as they present their brand new titles.
With the closure of Earls Court in London, the much loved show is now moving to the NEC in Birmingham.
An event that has grown from 4,000 to 80,000 attendees who are travelling from all over the country presents an interesting problem when looking for a new location. It needs to be easily accessible, but can equally deal with huge crowds. So, it’s of no surprise to hear that next year the EGX will be heading to the NEC in Birmingham.

We here at IM PLAYIN are fully preparing for Eurogamer…We’ve got our passes ready, spare pants by our side and baby wipes to get rid of the drool that’s sure to come out of our mouths.
Today, we’ve heard the first lists of games that will be playable at EGX, boy does it have some goodies in it for us.
VRFocus - The 2014 Eurogamer Expo (EGX) is fast approaching, getting ready to take place at Earls Court, London on 25th to 28th September. As such, the outlet has recently announced the first videogames and companies confirmed to be exhibiting at the public event. While virtual reality (VR) has had a presence in years prior, this year is set to be bigger than ever for the technology, with Oculus VR running its own dedicated stand for the Oculus Rift VR headset.
Great news!
I'm booked to go again this year after not having time to try it last year.
Been watching alot of youtubers let's plays of Oculus games, especially horror games, can't wait to try it for myself to see if VR really is viable in gaming or if it's another fad like 3D was.
Looking q bit shit this year then. UK is a big market with great devs deserve a Gamescom equivalent.
Come on Cameron, show a little initiative and back the industry instead constantly cropping on the poor.
sunset overdrive, halo and destiny woop!
