IGN – Jersey Boys, an off-key biopic of 1960s pop group Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, encapsulates itself in a jokey moment: At a swank record label party, Tommy (Boardwalk Empire's Vincent Piazza), slides up to a striking woman admiring an abstract painting. She's swept up in the artist's freedom to defy the mainstream, colors and shapes a clear priority over anything naturalistic. “They should take his freedom away,” teases Tommy.
