Battle of Z is not even worth the discounted 15€ price IMO.

Tbh I am enjoying the game, but I don't feel as compelled to play it as I did with the PS2 Budokai games.

I have however just bought the Super Barduk and Super Vegito DLCs for just over £2 for them both, maybe using OP characters will make it more fun :)

It has very little actual depth in the gameplay compared to B/BT games and you cant even fall back to the excuse that "at least supers look nice" because they dont.

IMO BT3's effects and attacks put all other DB game to shame (BOZ's simply look poor compared to them).

Probably the only reason I was kinda looking foward to the game was SSJ Bardock (Barduk ? Is that like different translation or different regional name ?)

Agarest: Generations of War Zero (PC) Review - cubed3

"Cubed3 recently reviewed the predecessor to this game, Agarest: Generations of War, and for better or worse, most of that review could be copied, pasted, had a few names changed, and still be one hundred percent accurate. Detailing events prior to the original game, Agarest: Generations of War Zero is a JRPG developed by Idea Factory, which has made the move over to PC through the team at Laughing Jackal. Again like the first title, expect throwbacks to older JRPGs, sprite-based graphics, pre-rendered character designs, and a game that is unlikely to ring in others outside of its established audience."

Agarest: Generations of War Zero - PC Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:

Agarest: Generations of War Zero is a PC port of the prequel to the Agarest War games; solid strategy RPG entries on home consoles and this newest port is a welcome addition to a longstanding family of spectacular role-playing games. In true-to-the-family fashion, Generations of War Zero puts you in control of a veritable cast of characters, allows you to build them up both in the standard fashion of leveling as well develop your character through the Card Skill feature.

You will be able to develop and grow your characters, and their relationships, through these new mechanics, all to building better generations of heroes. In the midst of the deep strategic gameplay and character development, you will encounter defining points throughout the game that allow you to choose to fight for the Light or the Dark, bringing in a level of replay value that is so lauded in any RPG franchise.
