The only thing that bothers me is that this is cross-gen. Other than that, I'm very happy with this game releasing on November.

New gameplay mechanics? Yes!

lelo1585d ago (Edited 1585d ago )

Honestly, LBP 3 looks like more of the same with a couple of updates. Probably get later on, when it's much cheaper.

XiNarutoUzumaki1585d ago

Same art style doesn't equal the same exact previous game, just sayin'

Neixus1584d ago

People said the same about LBP2, but it's sooo much different. The fact that it is 16 planes now, instead of 3, creates -huge- potential for better and more immersive levels

AgentSmithPS41585d ago

My Pumpinator is ready to fill this game with content.

Bathyj1585d ago

Cross gen doesnt bother me. Really disappointed this isnt LBP3D.

I mean the marketing writes itself and it would have been the natural evolution we were all waiting for.

XiNarutoUzumaki1584d ago (Edited 1584d ago )

Why do people want LBP in 3D? I'd rather see Mm come up with a new 3D game like they did with Tearaway. Mm games are about creation, so I'm pretty sure their new Ip is a 3D game

I don't think LBP in 3D Will work.

Bathyj1584d ago

Because I want to create 3D levels and objects, not just 2D on 2 planes.

Imagine what you could come up with without that limitation. I model 3 objects in Autocad and I've actually used it to design stuff I built into LBP. It would be so great to go to that next level.

fermcr1584d ago

If you want 3D, you can get Project Spark for X1/X360/PC ;)

Bathyj1584d ago

Project Spark looks great, it is the most interesting game for me on Xbone but I dont think I'll buy a console just for that. Maybe next year.

I hope my data from lbp 1 and 2 will transfer to lp3

Jughead34161585d ago

Same here. I think all they've said so far is that all of the user created levels will be available. But I purchased most of their DLC and also hope all of my content will transfer over. All the stuff from LBP1 transferred to 2, so I expect it to do the same for part 3.

thorstein1584d ago

Yeah. Definitely from PS3 to PS4!

It sounds as if this is possible since all LBP and LBP2 levels are available.

Sharingan_no_Kakashi1585d ago

I liked it. Was really surprised by it. Not really creative enough to build my own levels but playing what the community has to offer never gets old. The game that keeps on giving.

Jughead34161585d ago

I sucked at creating levels at first. Now I'm actually pretty good. I'm just too anti social to advertise my levels properly so that people can play them. Creating is super addictive once you get the hang of it.

Bathyj1585d ago

I dont make levels but I like making vehicles and contractions. I made a truck with a turret that sets things on fire and then puts them out.

LBP creation is super hardcore. You can go for hours and hours finding out what works and what doesnt, using the logic gates and different mechanical switches and stuff is amazing.

Sharingan_no_Kakashi1585d ago

I know lol. Too hardcore for me. But the community makes some pretty developer level stuff. I remember someone recreated Limbo in LBP1.

This, possibly destiny, cod, driveclub and the last of us are my must pick - ups this year

Jughead34161584d ago

This is actually my exact list of games that I'm getting this year. Also Madden.

danny8181584d ago

I need to get into sports games. Possibly picking up fifa if anything
