Borderlands The Pre Sequel: E3 2014 Hands on Preview at Skewed and Reviewed

Gareth at Skewed and Reviewed got some hands on time with the Borderlands Pre Sequel at E3. Check out his thoughts on the joy of low gravity combat and why the series is in great hands with a new development team.

The story is too old to be commented.

Even though the Borderlands series is pretty good and has done quite well in sales as a new franchise, I don't see this game doing very well this year. Destiny looks like a better version of Borderlands.

It's going to be overshadowed by some of the big hitters this year like:

Alien: Isolation
Shadow of Mordor
Dragon Age: Inquisition
Battlefield Hardline
The Evil Within
Assassin's Creed Unity
Sunset Overdrive
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare
The Crew
Far Cry 4
Halo: The Master Chief Collection

I enjoy the borderlands universe a lot, and just because of that i'm going to play this and any future Borderlands, the two so far has been awesome.

Destiny is "close to be like borderlands" from the Alpha streams i have seen, but thats not going to pull me away from playing, i will for sure enjoy and play both.

I think the fans will pick it up...

We played Destiny as well. The best way I can put it is that Destiny is more tech heavy and open world and his is more fun and more of what made the series great.

It was more fun to play that Destiny due to the humor and tons of weapons. Do not forget that they have the name revognotion factor. Hardline was just ok, nothing special as far as I was concerned and not as fun to play as this one.

Halo is older and only for Xbox one so the big challenge will be from Evolve as that is the only real co op threat aside from Destiny
