HG: When I found out the game was getting a mini-sequel with Groove City, I jumped up and down and called all my friends, who subsequently changed their numbers because some people don't like receiving phone calls at 3 in the morning. I was excited is what I'm trying to say. So I got on my best grooving pants (I have several), sat down for some excellent platforming -- and got up like forty minutes later, slightly confused. I wouldn't say that Groove City is bad, but it clearly falls short of the lofty expectations set by its predecessor and it feels like cheating to even call it a mini-sequel.
Hardcore Gamer: Electronic Super Joy was a nifty little platformer that we were pretty big fans of, and it was a fast paced, brutal platformer in the same vein as Super Meat Boy. Today, Groove City is making its way to Steam, and it is being billed as a mini-sequel to Electronic Super Joy.
Electronic Super joy game is amazing, more people should try it.. hard but addicting.. and trippy with nice music :)
