GOG.com Announces GOG Galaxy, new “Optional Client”
Just moments ago, at the CD Projekt RED/GOGcom Summer Conference, a huge announcement was made by GOG. Massive, in fact.
As it turns out, GOG is currently putting together a digital distribution/gaming client, similar to what you’d see from Valve with their Steam platform, albeit with a few major differences. They spoke about the integration of achievements in video games and a gaming profile to show off said achievements with your friends, cross-play with Steam, and other fantastic features, all available within this "optional client".
