There is no question that this particular Call Of Duty throws up an unusually long list of things to talk about. First, there are its origins at Sledgehammer Games, a studio that contains many of the people who created the first – and best – Dead Space at Visceral Games, and who are convinced that one of the things they can deliver this time around is a coherent, meaningful storyline. Then there’s the game’s new facial animation system, powered by technology and techniques that will also be used in the production of James Cameron’s Avatar 2. There is Advanced Warfare’s audio design, whose aim is to replicate not only the sound of letting loose with heavy firearms, but the torso-invading feel of it too. And there is Sledgehammer’s broad goal for the game’s visual appearance – photorealism – something it achieves in places thanks to a combination of its new rendering technology, an abundance of data sourced from the real world, and the application of its artists’ expert hands.
Former director at Activision, Bret Robbins, revealed that Advanced Warfare 2 had a working prototype, but it was eventually shelved for COD WWII.
That is a shame. AW is my favourite CoD. I hope they do a sequel one day.
I still prefer CoD based on historical settings or in near future settings(like CoD: Ghost) ... even though I liked infinite Warfare's campaign ... it was top notch
Game Rant Writes "With rumors swirling about a sequel to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer Games can bring back a few weapons for a modern encore."
GR: "If one series truly defined the seventh generation of consoles it was Call of Duty. Sadly, the series has struggled to reach the same heights on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and only Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare feels like the previous era of innovation and top-notch storytelling."
I quite enjoyed it but I think black ops 3 was the high point.
Modern warfare could be if a few tweaks are made and the new maps are good.
The campaign was OK, but the guns sounded like cap guns and the multiplayer maps were not memorable at all.
Cool information!
Is it me or is it like a wave of the same type of weapons ans technology sweeping all platforms at once
Before it was the crossbow(or some other type of bow) showing up in almost ever fps or 3(rd)ps now it is exposure which we saw in cruise and and in elysium and GI:Joe and now Call Of duty can we come up with something original once I know that almost everything that has been created hasn't been created yet but can we think outside the box I would of loved to see a robot solider rather than a suit not bashing cod for doing things different becaise they need to but it's all recycled and reused repativly
