Mind Zero is going to surprise people. For all its lack of marketing, and surface-level appearance resembling Persona 3, somehow Acquire and ZeroDiv’s dungeon crawler manages to provide strong, on-the-go sensibilities that can be seen as an equal to some of the genre’s more recent entries, such as Demon Gaze and Etrian Odyssey. With that in mind, it’s time to find out how this under-the-radar game has managed to deliver a quality JRPG experience.
