Always Sometimes Monsters – Review | TheGameJar
Josh Mathews: "Always Sometimes Monsters portrays a month in the life of your character, based a year after a publisher took interest in your book but you never finished it, and your love interest has left you. You begin at a party, where you’re offered an advance for your book and you get to choose your partner. After that you start playing the game in a shitty apartment, with a few microwavable pizza pouches and $500 of unpaid rent. A token of hope is waved in front of you when you receive a wedding invitation from your ex and you resolve to get there. The wedding will happen in 30 days and you have that time to earn money to get all the way across the country to San Verdano."
