Do parents really care about the ESRB?

“Excuse me Ma’m, I just want to let you know that this game, Grand Theft Auto V, is a mature rated title, and is intended for gamers above the age of 17.” Perhaps, you have heard something similar to this if you have ever been in line at a game store who supports the ESRB. A large majority of parents do not pay this much attention at all, they just want the game to babysit their child without care of what the game actually contains.
