Watchdogs – First Impressions (Mojo-Interactive)

After a reasonably lengthy bit of exposition and storytelling, a year later time jump, the game throws you into an interrogation scene at Wrigley Field baseball stadium in Chicago. As Aiden Pearce you are questioning a hitman / thug about events from a year earlier. At this point the game gives you control of Aiden, the first task you are given (after a touch of interrogation tactics) is to hack the hitman’s phone. Hacking is a simple task of holding X until the hack is complete. That’s it. Simple as that. You receive some audio information from the villain’s phone and then it’s time to leave the stadium (after meeting your obligatory partner who likes to go a bit overboard).

Here you learn the basics of hacking security cameras and how to leap from camera to camera to get another view on things, crafting gadgets to distract guards, and finally a very cool moment when you unleash a special ability (one I’m yet to use again) to make your final escape.
