Wii gamers will soon be able to play their Star Wars titles with an actual 'Lightsaber' rather than the Wii Remote after Competition Pro announced it is to launch the add-on this Friday.
The Light Sword, named to avoid any copyright issues, will be compatible with all Wii games. This includes Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga and the forthcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.
The Light Sword will be sold as a twin pack, featuring both a green and red sword for those who want to partake in duel battles, and they operate by sliding the Wii Remote into the sword's handle.
The swords, which boast motion-activated lights, will go on sale for £19.99.
Humble Bundle is joining in with the Black Friday festivities, offering up 17 Disney games for around $10 - now available for a limited time.

force unleashed is a great game. Thankfully the 360 version is bc on the XBO/Series. It looks and plays even better than on original hardware.
You can already get a blue one which is said to have nothing to do with star wars even though its clearly a blue light saber looking add on thing for the Wii mote. What else are you supposed to do with it I wonder...
I'd buy one if I could FIND A F*CKING WII!!!!!!!!!!!
Just kidding, I don't want a Wii.
Everyone knows 3rd party devs have YET to utilize the Wii-mote well. Considering the Wii's sensor can't detect in a spatial 3-D environment, there's no way this lightsaber accessory can work as anyone would expect it to. Sony and MS are BOTH working on ways to bring true 3-D motion sensing to gaming...but the Wii simply can't do it.
Wierd.. Just another add on you have to buy to play a Wii game.. I dont care how cheap the Wii is.. The crap they come out with to play their games.. Is way more expensive than a Ps3/360...
The Wii is the biggest Gimmick ever.. Its like a bad Infomercial
who cares
