After 11 years, Harmonix is finally returning to Amplitude. The developer needs $775,000 on Kickstarter to remake their popular 2003 music game.

The game will keep the frantic, track-switching, note-hitting gameplay as you try to maintain each part of the song until the end.

Those songs will be electronic tracks to match the game’s futuristic aesthetic, which will be updated with more extravagant, high-definition art. The majority of the soundtrack will be created by Harmonix’s 10-person team, which includes people who worked on the original game. They will work beside other teams in Harmonix currently creating games like Fantasia: Music Evolved and Chroma.
