While the Hoverbike and Spider Tank are awesome I don't see this game changing CoD so drastically much that it gets vehicles... HOWEVER if those Gecko Gloves, Cloak, and Deployable Shield Wall get woven into the MP then this may be the first CoD I've been genuinely excited about since MW2! That gear could substantially spice up the MP and breathe some new life into the series! :D

GamingTruth4017d ago

yeah cod would have to turn into tron to be gamechanging right fireseed, yeah give the players the ability to teleport and shoot kamehamehas ingame and yeah then call of duty will have finally changed, but yet all battlefield games have to do to change is upgrade graphics and steal old cod ideas and its a innovative masterpiece

Fireseed4017d ago

Cocaine is bad for you man... What in the seven hells are you talking about?!?!?

Call of Duty: Crysis Warfare

Clown_Syndr0me4016d ago

Battlefield isn't annual, and is on a much bigger scale.

WrAiTh Sp3cTr34016d ago (Edited 4016d ago )

It looks like Halo has it's work cut out. They MS/343 should make Halo more organic like Gears since Call of Duty is going all futuristic<---which looks excellent by the way.

If you can man those vehicles in MP, that would be quite a significant change. Manning hoverbikes on the ground in MP would be a big departure from the status quo of the COD series (probably an indictment regarding the series unwillingness to change I know).

Fireseed4017d ago

Yeah and honestly I think that would be a step in the wrong direction for CoD. I've always seen CoD as the military shooter planted firmly in the Infantry perspective (aside from Killstreaks). But within the constraints of sticking to on-foot combat I think it's about time they start challenging what we expect from infantry locomotion around the environment other than ladders and stairs lol

redwin4016d ago

Lol, it's as close to halo that it can be without the aliens. And is that Kevin the one that's talking in the game? Wow, he sounds good. I want that entire rant as a ringtone .

cyclindk4016d ago

For me, a simple game mode option which applys to all those who play it would be one that has aim assist off for everyone and less forgiving hit boxes.

ginsunuva4016d ago

Those probably won't be in MP.

It'll just be running around spawn points shooting other players with bullets.

Conzul4016d ago (Edited 4016d ago )

Yeah, it's the first COD in years that has piqued my interest. I think I'll actually keep tabs on this one. You never know...

Hellsvacancy4017d ago (Edited 4017d ago )

It looked like a mix of Elysium and Robopocalypse, it didn't actually look all that bad, I'll probably play it, haven't played a COD in years, I like Kevin Spacey aswel

Battlefield 5 BETTER up its game

Clown_Syndr0me4017d ago

Super jump? Super strength? Could be fun but I need a realistic shooter in my life.

SaintAlpha1014016d ago

Oh god no, my main gripe with CoD for the longest time has been how mired and restricted to reality it is.
Anything that can be imaginative, empowering and a bit unrealistic would help break CoD out of it's monotonous cycle. IMO

USMC_POLICE4016d ago (Edited 4016d ago )

How mired and restricted to reality it is???? Have you played cod?? Have you been in combat in iraq,Afghanistan??? Maybe I miss interpriated that but I don't think that you have the slightest clue what you are talking about. You want close to realisim try arma on PC. That's the closest I've played. For the record pistol sniping and dual smgs don't work in a "realistic" combat situation.

Clown_Syndr0me4016d ago

It isn't that realistic, iTs just right except ghosts that sucked.
There are loads of sci fi shooters, COD doesn't need to be one.
It needs a change but not this imo. Each to their own though and I'm sure many will enjoy it. No doubt I will buy it anyway!

Allsystemgamer4016d ago (Edited 4016d ago )

Then play ARMA? Or battlefield? Cod is FAR from realistic. People don't run around in circles solo quick scoping and stabbing eachother from a mile away OR survive a .50 cal shot the torso.

cyphertech4016d ago

So that's what Killzone: Mercenary would look like on next gen consoles. Neat

That is a shame. AW is my favourite CoD. I hope they do a sequel one day.

LordoftheCritics753d ago

Thoroughly enjoyed AW.

Good campaign and everything.

LOGICWINS753d ago

Same. Fantastic campaign, but I wasn't crazy about the jetpacks in multiplayer.

RaidenBlack753d ago

I still prefer CoD based on historical settings or in near future settings(like CoD: Ghost) ... even though I liked infinite Warfare's campaign ... it was top notch

CobraKai753d ago

I felt it was a good time to revisit WW2

porkChop753d ago

I actually really enjoyed WWII. I never understood the hate it got.

JEECE753d ago

A lot of people who never played a shooter prior to like 2012 get really mad about anything that isn't a modern combat game.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare remains the series' lone bright spot this gen

GR: "If one series truly defined the seventh generation of consoles it was Call of Duty. Sadly, the series has struggled to reach the same heights on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and only Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare feels like the previous era of innovation and top-notch storytelling."

I quite enjoyed it but I think black ops 3 was the high point.

Modern warfare could be if a few tweaks are made and the new maps are good.

Baza2002d ago (Edited 2002d ago )

Story wise.. black opps 3 was all over the place. Modern Warfare story is so much more cohesive and actually makes sense.

Immorals2002d ago

Black ops 3 was terrible. The story was absolutely atrocious.

Knushwood Butt2002d ago

I quit that campaign after about an hour. All I remember is some crappy robot drone combat R2D2 thing that you had to use. I didn't make it past that.

Epicor2001d ago

For me the Black Ops installations have always been the high peaks in terms of PVP mode. Black ops 3 campaign was pretty bad though. Advanced Warfare's campaign was pretty good, one of the best ones - but PVP was bad!

gamer92002d ago

LOL Advanced Warfare, too funny

2002d ago
Kabaneri2002d ago

The campaign was OK, but the guns sounded like cap guns and the multiplayer maps were not memorable at all.
