Oh man that was truly awesome. The game types shown work well and for once I approve of a companion app. They did a great job there.

I thought the only type of MP in this game would be the 'invading other peoples game' type of MP. I had no idea there would be competitive VS modes. Looks pretty awesome.

I also like that in each persons game they appear as Aidan but in another persons game they look different keeping you the main character in yor own world

The best part is how you don't actually know who the other multiplayer player's are. You just have to kind of look for signals and clues in body language like in Assassins Creed Multiplayer.

^ That to me, is the single most "awesome" part of this whole game. I'm not wowed by anything else I've seen but it looks to be a solid title.

Looking good. But did anybody notice while in the car driving. No people are anywhere to be seen on the streets or is it I can't see cuz Im watching this vid off my little smartphone? And why is the daytime cycle shown at the hour of sunset like? I love the sun flare mind you, but does this game have a mourning to afternoon, like to 12pm?

That first part with the "invade the other guy's game" mechanic reminds me a bit of the Demon's Souls/Dark Souls online dynamic...i.e. the multiplayer being a seamless extension of the single player experience.

Doesn't look like the squad combat allows custom appearances which sort of sucks, but whatever.

This game is looking pretty fun. I'm beginning to lose some of my skepticism.

Of course I did. Did you? I wouldn't classify another player joining your game to work against you as co-op. Competitive multilayer obviously isn't either.

@GameDev1 you cant be serious, that was clearly competitive multiplayer game play, not the co-op he is talking about. If thats the case then I guess Dead space 2 multiplayer and the Last of Us was co-op as well. Do you also consider CODs multiplayer to be co-op?

BALLARD is right. The stuff at the end was basically team objective, not true co-op.

You mean no "the usual co-op" this is something new and fresh which is much needed instead of the same old you vs me, let's shoot each other co-op.

The multiplayer in this game looks amazing and fun as shell. How anyone can't be excited after watching this is beyond me

Although with the online, I'm guessing there's going to be a crap load of online trophies. Guess I won't be getting a platinum for this game...just like AC4 :|

Has anyone noticed how when the guy successfully escapes and gets points it says underneath

"Nitro Boost: Increases Nitros during online races"

How on earth is that fair? So a low level player with nothing could be against a high level player with unlocks such as that one.

It means it won't be about skill....just what you've unlocked.

Even if the game doesn't let you "turn it off", you could just sign out of PSN/Live. That said, you'd sort of be nerfing the game.

Regarding the Nitro Boost, you're right, that sounds cheesy. Much like GTA5 the racing probably won't be a strong aspect of the game.
