The Dualshock 4 sets itself apart from other controllers by having some new features that aren't new but also aren't found on other controllers. The first addition is a touch pad above the analogue sticks. This touch pad can be pushed down like an normal button but also allows the user to perform swipes along it using your finger. This was used quite well in Infamous Second Son where you would swipe across the pad to open doors and lift certain objects. Touch controls are nothing new but this is the first time they have been implemented as a secondary means of control.

At the moment, this remaster of Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny looks like it’ll be exactly what fans crave from Onimusha, while adding in a brand new mode and accessible content right out of the gate.
Silent Hill: Townfall is shrouded in mystery, leaving the game with the tough task of meeting the expectations of franchise fans.
I really like the new PS4 controller, and it's a huge improvment over the DS3, but I do hope they fix the problem people are having with the analogue sticks 'deteriorating', plus personally I have a squeeky left trigger, which is a bit annoying.
Also, the light is a bit annoying when playing in a dark room, and the battery-life is straight-down POOR. Sadly.
Other than that, it's a fantastic controller. Feels great in the hand, buttons are good, weight is perfect.
Would like to see some official drivers being released for PC-support.
Huge improvement over the PS3 controller, but until they make more use of the screen in the middle so it's not just in the way, the Gamecube controllers keeping that award in my book. Won't be long though.
