This is what a Superman game on Project Morpheus could feel like

Despite so much rich gameplay potential Superman has never been done justice in a video game. But an intriguing new short film highlights how he could find the perfect home on Sony’s virtual reality device, Project Morpheus for the PS4.

Lol if it had really good graphics I would piss my pants the first time when I look down lol.

Wow. Whether it sucks or succeeds it'll be better than Superman 64.

Amazing. Even on a boring regular flat screen it could help people see the great potential of VR.

A Superman VR game with Move on PS4 could work so well.

Just imagine, you look down at your feet in the game and with the push of a button you see the dirt/dust around you pulse out as your feet begin to lift into the air. As you take flight, the wind gets louder and louder and then you pass the sound barrier and hear nothing but silence and the vibrations of the Superman's breath as you zip across the sky.

You then see an alien ravaging the city below and buildings collapsing so you fly down there using ice breath and laser vision to try and take it down. It doesn't seem to work so you land and run superfast pulling a massive punch with the controller knocking the alien through buildings and casuing mayhem.

I feel like this would work better in an arcade with a super computer hahahaha

A great game company could make it work, although I would prefer a fantastic third person Superman game first. Superman Returns' flight was pretty awesome. Wish everything else didn't suck.

crazyCoconuts126d ago

I was lucky and held off on 4 until I played it in VR. It really is pretty awesome - you'll love it.

The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.
