GeekParty writes: "The Tomodachi Life Direct has taken the internet by storm. People everywhere are hailing the Virtual Boy and getting their bodies ready for some Tomodachi goodness.
But while the Direct was incredibly entertaining, it left out some important information. Here are a few things you may not know about Tomodachi Life."
Tomodachi Life is finally returning on the Switch, which bodes well for the roster of Nintendo's next Super Smash Bros. entry.
The recent March 2025 Nintendo Direct revealed exciting news, including a Tomodachi Life sequel, which may be significant for Animal Crossing fans.
Four Nintendo Selects 3DS games have been discounted with Kirby Triple Deluxe dropping to $15.99, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon to $14.49, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D to $14.99 and Tomodachi Life to $13.08.
Almost all of these were pretty clear in the trailer. It's basically a lite version of "The Sims" with Miis--and a sense of humor.
It looks interesting, but I'm worried about the real-time gameplay aspect. I've never seen that incorporated in a game so well that I was glad for it.
