Phase two of Marvel Studios ambitious three tiered plan hasn't exactly been the stellar experience most were hoping for after the juggernaut of The Avengers landed. Iron Man 3 was a financial success and won some fanboys over with its surprise twist, but left a sour taste in the mouths of most. Thor: The Dark World was a significant step up but let's face it, if Loki hadn't been in it then it too would have been a disappointment in most eyes.
