Rain World, the game with that adorable slug cat, was recently picked-up by Adult Swim Games. This is exciting for the two-man team behind the game, Joar Jakobsson and James Primate, because they are now able to reap the benefits of being supported by a publisher. According to an update on Rain World‘s Kickstarter page, one of those benefits means that Rain World will now be coming to the PS Vita and PSN.
Rain World will give you the opportunity to experience a world of wonder, danger, and slugcats.
Today marks the release of the frantic survival platformer, as Rain World on Xbox launches, alongside the Downpour expansion on all formats
"Rain World is a challenging Metroidvania-style platformer from Videocult and Akupara Games. In Rain World, players contr ol a vulnerable but nimble "slugcat" as it struggles to survive in a strange and dangerous world. Until now, the only way to brave the game's rain-soaked world was solo, but the Rain World: Downpour DLC, which has just come to consoles following the PC release, changes all that. The 'Downpour' DLC adds 4-player local co-op support, five new playable characters, and more," says Co-Optimus.
Interesting. Don't know much about the game, but the more games on the Vita the better. And the more games we have to review :P
Dang, another one. Vita's on a roll today...
Finally getting to see Adult Swim games coming to PlayStation. This is something I have waited many months to see.
Yes!!!
This news has made my day.
Not sure why this is PC news? Confusing how many times I click on a certain platform and half of the news is for other platforms :(
