This game looks so good.

I really love 2D side scrolling action for this gen. Love how 3D elements are incorporated giving this old school style of gameplay a fresh coat of paint and fresh air.

I really, really want to play this game with Kinect. Here is hoping they can port it as well as fruit ninja

Sadly, it looks like it may just use the controller

gamingdaduk3356d ago

Ahh yes would love Fruit Ninja on the One :) I don't have a Kinect, but that would be worth buying one for! ;)

Yetter3355d ago

Its coming soon. Announced last week

Very nostalgic looking title, for that reason alone I'm interested! Loving the retro-feel of a lot of new games like Roundabout, The Escapists and Olli Olli. One to watch, this! :)

On the one hand, covering newer titles is a good way to bring retro and modern gaming together in an almagation of games but on the other, it is an easy way to alienate the fanbase. Covering games that have retro ties, while the easy route, doesn’t happen as much as gamers would like it (when is the last time a new Contra game was released for instance?). Then there are games like Shadow Blade, ones that are homages to retro games in key areas. Crescent Moon Games have set their sites on Sega’s classic Shinobi and infused modern play design to make an interesting title called Shadow Blade."
