Here’s another trailer by Aesthetic Games Inc. for their medieval co-op action horror RPG Dead Crusade, this time focusing on the plot of the game, and expanding a bit on the deadly Black Death pandemic that rages across 14th century Europe killing and turning victims into mindless flesh-consuming zombies.
LGN "Some sad news today for those looking forward to the Unreal Engine 4-powered action horror title for the PC; Aesthetic Games Inc. has announced the cancellation of the Kickstarter campaign due to various reasons, including poor marketing/spread-of-word and the somewhat poor reception of the early gameplay footage shown previously."
Molly of Ghost Volta: "Dead Crusade immediately differs from the average zombie game by planting its story in the middle of 1347 Medieval Europe. More specifically, during the Black Death, the infamous pandemic that killed a third of the human population. Aesthetic Games has created a fictional take on the real world event, implying that the disease turned those infected into flesh-hungry zombies."

Combat mechanics could be a bit more fluid and polished, but this does look interesting + nice visuals.

Poor animations. Average visuals for a PC game (Thief already looks better than that!) and lackluster particle effects.
However the lighting effect were really nice. Overall there was nothing here that couldn't be much more polished and impressive by the time it hits shelves. I'll keep an eye on this one for sure.
