Twinfinite writes, "Indeed, everything about the game bursts with happiness and excitement. The game's art design is quite simple, and entirely cartoonish in essence. Bright, vibrant colors pervade the overall tropical design and make you feel like kicking back with it in one hand and a pina colada in the other."
A discussion of the game design behind popular rhythm game Jungle Rumble.
The game is charming, fun, and addictive, keeping me up way past my bedtime on more than a few nights. I kept having that all-too-common thought of “just one more level” well into the night, and paid for it in the morning, when I would tap my foot to the remembered rhythm as I waited in line to get my coffee. And, of course, it’s full of adorable monkey puns.
Mofongo Tribe lives deep in the jungle. They swing from trees under vast skies. They vie to throw coconuts the furthest. And they pursue the sweet flesh of the banana. Sustenance for the young. Delight for the old. When a rival tribe invades, to steal those bananas, a conflict ignites.
Nice work with this review. This game completely slipped under my radar until now.
