Two MMORPGs will launch on PlayStation 4 next week – Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn and Onigiri. The team at Cyberstep ported Onigiri from PC to PlayStation 4.
No we’re not talking about recipes for delicious Japanese rice balls, but instead the free-to-play MMORPG by Cyberstep. Onigiri takes place in the realms of Mythic Japan and follows the story of your character, a powerful Oni, and the princess Shizuka.
What makes Onigiri different from most other MMORPGs is the fact that it coincides with an actual manga. Unfortunately, Onigiri itself falls short in a number of areas.

First there was the free Chaos;Child demo, and now the Xbox One even has an MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) in Japan: Onigiri! The release of Onigiri is exciting because the game is free and not region locked. Anybody can download and start questing with friends, provided they don't mind a little legwork and a lot of Japanese text. Its odd. Currently free to play with the paid currency not yet implemented. Its basically empty at all times though. Level 37 and I've probably seen 30 people
Uhm these lesser known games don't sell well on either platform...lol either way it's free to play so why are we talking sales??? Btw acting as if fps and other well known games are most popular only among the xbox fanbase is inaccurate= the same top games like COD, Battlefield, Assassins Creed, GTA etc that have high sales on X1 are the best selling games on ps consoles also. If Gears and Halo were on ps consoles they'd be among the best selling games too.

ff14 monthly subscription is awesome, good gameplay nice controls and good looking graphics.
f2p dismissed, really i hate f2p games unless its the way Guild wars 2 done it.

For people that complain about subcription, it shows you never played subcription based mmo, with no pay to win crap and new content launching faster then you can finish.
Onigiri doesn't look too bad. Seems to be on JPN only though.. though an english version is in the works for PC.
