Lol at all the people who think this is a bad company expansion

Dirtnapstor4037d ago

Never played the game referenced in the article but I loved the BBC2: Vietnam expansion! I wish they'd remaster them with the new engine, add it to the B4 playlist.

Hill 137 was probably my favorite of the bunch, the firey portion of the map was nuts and would like to see that updated.

Ranking All The Battlefield Games

From Xfire: "With the next game being a return to the classic XX42 formula, now is as good a time as any to make an utterly definitive and in no possible way controversial ranking of the Battlefield games we've enjoyed over the years, with which undoubtedly nobody will take issue in the comment section. Right? Okay then - here we go, from least good to best."

Battlefield 1 above 4 and Bad Company 2? Not a chance.

Ruegrong1394d ago

battlefield 4 was broken as shit on launch same as battlefield 3

Bad company 2 was still my favorite, sure it was a bit gimped compared to the rest if the series but more fun and far more satisfying weapon unlocks.

Battlefield 1942 + both expansions are my all time favorite, it can still be played online to this day. Vietnam would be my 2nd, 3rd Battlefield 2, last BF2142 the rest I didn't care for. They really need to remake from the ground up in the new engine BF1942. Next year it will be 20 yrs since it was released. If they don't at least to me would be a disservice. ☹

Battlefield 3's 'Aftermath' Expansion: A Historical Direction

4Player-"Where DICE's previous offerings, Close Quarters and Armored Kill, played their part in expanding the core BF3 experience -and did so in two diametrically opposed ways in order to more greatly increase the BF3 palette- Aftermath does something else. It serves an entirely different meal.

Of course this is no unheard of in the Battlefield universe. 2002's Battlefield 1942 was a small step to the flood of variations that DICE would release throughout the years. And though they released nominal expansions until 2003, Battlefield: Vietnam completely changed the song in 2004 and still remains one of the most beloved entries to this day. I myself yearn for the return of helicopter and vehicle radios to the series."
