The main character looks like Jack from Radiata Stories, and guys, it's made from tri-Ace so expect to constantly hear the characters saying there attacks.

looked fine until I saw the real gameplay footage.

Hope this time the xbox360 finally gets a decent RPG and not another Blue Dragon or ES.

I'll be okay with more promising titles though. ( final fantasy 13, White Knight, FF13 versus) and yes I can wait for these titles to come I'll be playing MGs4 and LBp in the mean time.

Wow...the voice acting is amazing..... Anyways, I'm beginning to wonder if your "journey" is more of a linear path or more of an open world experience. Guess time will tell but looks like this game still has a ways to go and we all know Square-Enix likes to take their time.

I hope that trailer was just a beta trailer because the voice sync was a huge turn off like the some of the early RPG's on dreamcast worked. Hopefully when it's released it will be better.

I like that ass. Thats why its my profile pic. Its small its tight I'm pretty sure its 17+ and more importantly that is one sexy tattoo. I found it on this site and thought it was funny and I still think it is. True I'm not going to play this game but I am a huge fan of Tri-Ace.

I'm a JRPG fan who just doesnt like seeing the English version of so many JRPGS getting stuck with average English voice actors. It ruins the experience of the game considering how important dramatic scenes are for RPGs. To have a voice cast that doesnt match the art isn't something that should be happening with a high profile game that looks as beautiful as this game not in this generation.

They have a bit of work to do in the production values area. Even if they do feel the need to have characters yell out everything they do, they shouldn't name the moves things like 'Arching Boots'. After you get the names of the moves fixed, then maybe you can have their mouths actually move somewhat like they should.

Having said that, it looks pretty fun. The storyline seems appropriately epic, and the art style suits it. Those things I complained about above aren't really enough to ruin a good game, just niggles(imo). This is yet another game that makes me wish I could afford a 360.

On a side note, the only rpg I've play this gen(not counting oblivion->pc) is enchanted arms. 8^(

The acting (hope they shut up during the combat, or at least gives them a few more ways to say the same spell etc) and lip sync could use work, as could the framerate which seemed a bit unstable.

tri-Ace makes good rpg's and they always have good battle systems too, I think this is going to be a solid rpg.

I am surprised that its coming out so soon though and I hope they are not rushing it since things like the lip-sync was terrible to look at in the trailer.

I still want to hear more on Star Ocean since they are making that too but this game should be nice but it is releasing with some competition too so I wonder how it will do.

Dragon Quest is also a sweetheart among Sony fans, and that game will probably never touch Xbox 360. Hell, I would be surprised if Kingdom Hearts made it to the 360. Star Ocean 4, Valkyrie Chronicles and White Knight Story are also PS3 exclusives. I'm sorry that you have to generalize on how "all PS3 only fans" do this and say that. "not one FRANCHISE" my ass.

What I'm really sorry about though, is that you have to train yourself to play so many mediocre games. Any revolutionary Japanese RPG out on 360? Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon certainly failed to make a splash in Japan; had they been a FF7, it would have been otherwise. So again, sorry to burst your bubble, but who cares if you've played so forgettable JRPG titles like Enchanted Arms, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey.

Quality is more important, and so far most PS3 exclusive JRPG seem better than everything 360 has combined, each on its own merits. The funny thing is that most of the games you have played are in development for PS3, like Eternal Sonata and Tales of Vesperia except with all the DLC on the disc already (Which should have been on the 360... the problem is DVD9 it seems. Without Blu-ray, Microsoft set themselves up for failure, even more so in Japan), or are already on PS3 (like Enchanted Arms), or PS3 doesn't need, like Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon when Final Fantasy, FFVersus and WKC are coming out

Yeah, I rather wait for quality games on a quality console (though I'm playing other games, it's not like I can play dozens of games at the same time), than have to play rushed games on rushed consoles. LOL Well g3nkie , it's true PS3 never been the one to showcase PS3's strengths through shooters. We can all agree Xbox 360, because of Live have done pretty well with that.

The 360, right now, because of the year start, has the upper-hand in the gaming library and Genres. Surprisingly Jrpgs are coming out like so fast on there, besides the multi[plat ones.

I want to but I haven't a 360..... Persona's got me covered right now and hopefully Persona 4 will come out soon and then maybe Sony will get developers to get some dam RPGs on the PS3. Either way it's bad, you swap a lot, or it's too short. It's not even turn based. Looks like most Japanese exclusives that Microsoft is buying from 3rd parties are being modeled after western RPGs, so good luck with more WRPGs dressed as JRPGs.

I wonder if this will be the "Final Fantasy killer" or "Dragon quest killer" that many 360 fanboys have been waiting for, since Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey didn't accomplish that, hell they were not even close.

What a waste it would be, its not like the 360 fanbase buys japanese games anyway. Look how VF5 flopped on 360 despite having a significantly higher install base at the time.
