Great scores again. Sounds like a broken record by now.

Can a gamer, not a journalist, tell fellow gamers here if these perfect scores are justified? And if so,why? Im waiting to get TF on my 360, so I am really confused at all the perfect scores given it, and on the flip-side, people like Angry joe, who I Respect his opinion concerning games, even when I don't agree with it. I disagreed with the majority of his cons concerning Killzone SF. It seems the hardcore gamers cannot get past the weak graphics, lack of content, tech issues, lack of sp etc.. to justify a perfect score

All the hype from Titanfall was from M$, EA and shills. I'd say play the game at a friend's house, see if you like it. Or go on Twitch.tv or Youtube and see if it looks fun. Personally, I trust Joe.

Thay fact that you would trust ANYONE to make your decision or determine whats good to YOU is just mind blowing.

"hardcore gamers cannot get past the weak graphics, lack of content, tech issues, lack of sp etc.. "

That's not true at all. Firstly, having spent hours upon hours on the game, the tech issue has been completely blown out of proportion. The frame rate may stutter but I have barely noticed it and I havr been in insane encounters. The frame rate may dip at times but nothing down to what you wouldn't expect in other games where there is absolute carnage on screen.

The graphics may not be next gen but the art style is nice and not really enough of a reason to miss oit on the game wben the gameplay is so good.

Lack of contrnt in terms of modes maybe. But the ones that you do have are brilliant.

Hardcore gamers are enjoying this game. It's an extremely well balanced game with very few latency issues, great maps and fast paced and intuitive gameplay. Most of the people moaning dont even have Titanfall.

Simply said, this is the most fun I've had with a FPS since MW1. I can't wait to play more. I was on last night and looking at the personal stats section and noticed that I have now played for just under 18 hours. For me, that is unheard of. I have all of the CODs and probably played for a total of 5 hours on all but MW1 and MW2. This game is so intense. Very fast paced which I love. Going back to play COD with a friend and I feel like my feet are stuck in mud. The action is very frantic. Last night, I was coming at an enemy titan who noticed me. so I ran up and across a wall, double jumped of of that to land on him while MY TITAN was folowing me shooting the hell out of the enemy titan. I took out the titan and as it exploded, I was launched high in the air and was able to land on a second enemy titan coming in to help his team mate. I hightailed it out of there to take over the nearest hardpoint and left my auto titan to deal with him. This is an every game type of experience in this game. Always something incredible haoppening. Loving it and can't wait to play more. my gamer Tag is SKREWUALL for any interested.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."
