AMD Provides Performance Figures for Thief’s Mantle Patch
Maximum PC: AMD can talk about the benefits of its Mantle API until it's blue in the face, but what gamers really want to know is how the numbers work out once all the dust settles. To address those folks, the Sunnyvale chip designer sent us a handful of examples of performance boosts today's upcoming Mantle patch for Thief will bring to gamers, based on AMD's own internal testing.
