Tom’s Games : Killzone 2 First Impressions

"Last Friday’s Sony event was the first opportunity Tom’s Games had to play Killzone 2. So how did this anticipated PS3 title look? Quite good, especially considering the single player demo was pre-alpha code. But if Killzone 2 is continually touted as having the most impressive graphics available on the console, then gamers and Killzone fans may end up being slightly disappointed. The game’s visuals weren’t quite as impressive as, say, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare or BioShock. This, of course, could be due to the fact that the demo section was dark and shadowy, with most of the environments being bland concrete. So perhaps Killzone 2’s graphics will truly shine in other levels of the game."
