SteamFirst: Five dollars can buy you lots of things. You could get a foot long sub. You could buy a comic book. You can also buy 500 Jessie from Full House pins. As of March 3rd, you can now buy one darn great fighting game on Steam.
It seems that anime and fighting games always seem to find themselves in a symbiotic relationship. On one hand you have anime girls in skimpy clothing and on the other you have these girls go up against each other in a battle to the end. This formula has worked for several fighting franchises and even lead to some of those franchises being staples of the fighting community. While Vanguard Princess is certainly a very capable 2D fighting game, there just isn’t enough to set this apart and make it the new fighting game du jour.
You can pay what you want for Guilty Gear Isuka, so if you love that series, snatch this up to have it wherever you go. Vanguard Princess can be yours by beating the average of around $4, while Blade Symphony is added to the mix at $10.
Indie Gala organizes bundle sales for indie games. With the Indie Gala bundle, customers not only decide how much they want to pay, but also how much of the proceeds shall go to IndieGala’s charities. ‘Vanguard Princess’ in Indie Gala’s bundle is made available in form of game codes that are redeemable at the Steam digital store.
