Constant C Review | RGN
Chris of RGN writes, "Constant C is a good addition to the platformer genre and some of their unique features work while some don’t. The game has an interesting story, great music, well thought out stages, and the puzzles are plentiful. Were it that Constant C was in a less saturated genre it would be the type of game where an indie company would shine, but it being in the place where it is it is hard to say that this is anything revolutionary. It is some times unnecessarily difficult due to confusion of the gravitational shift feature alone. The art style is interesting, but something we’ve seen before. That is what this game really is though. It is overall something we’ve seen before, but reskinned. That isn’t to say it isn’t enjoyable. I enjoyed the 5+ hours of play I got (Even though some of my time was me blurting out explicit words in frustration) and for $10 it is at a great value. However, Constant C isn’t a must have.
Constant C is a great platformer in every way, but that is nothing new to the platformer genre which is already saturated with great games. If you are an avid platform gamer then you will enjoy Constant C at a low price of $9.99 on the PC or the 360. However, if you are looking for a game changer look elsewhere, but if you are looking for a couple of hours of fun, frustration, and enjoyment at a low cost then I would recommend this for you."
