5 Unique art styles videogames should utilize
With almost all the 2014 indie games on the table, a few really stuck with me. The re-purposing of Ancient Grecian art styles in Apotheon looks incredible and captivating. The pop-up book origami stylings of Tengami are isolating and organic. The first is an action game, the second an adventure; two different companies mining richly established artistic legacies for their own purposes and genres. It got me thinking, how else can studios profit off the backs of their ancestors?
