AWESOMEoutof10's Adam DeMarco puts on his thinking cap to solve puzzles in a spiritual sequel to the classic Windows title, Chip's Challenge. The biggest puzzle is why we had to wait so long. "Chuck’s Challenge 3D is a nifty title that stands out in a genre littered with sub-par games. Though it falls short of matching the humor and charm of something like Portal, it is an excellent puzzle game suitable for play sessions both long and short. Hearkening back to its old-school roots while still exuding a sense of newness, younger gamers and those of us old enough to remember typing commands into a DOS prompt alike will find plenty of value here. It may have taken Chuck Sommerville a while to get this game out, but for fans of the classics it’s worth the two-decade wait."
Chuck’s Challenge 3D is basically a well-executed puzzle game (in terms of artwork and gameplay). The gameplay is pretty darn addictive which will require you to solve puzzles using different strategies as it incorporates various elements besides moving blocks round. Elements such as unlocking different parts of the puzzle by using keys, barriers, environment features and portals, as well as moving elements as the game progresses. Each level has a certain type puzzle in the elements used which makes it more interesting as you will eventually have to combine previous strategies and elements to solve these levels.

It’s certainly not a new idea (it is the spiritual successor to Chip’s Challenge, an old PC game by the same creator), but an old idea done well can still be worthwhile."
Chuck's Challenge 3D is inspired by a very old game for PC. The concept remained the same but now has a current graphics quite nice. It is a puzzle game that works very well on mobile platforms but is also quite enjoyable to play on PC. The story as you would expect in a puzzle game is very simple, serving only to give some context to the game.
I was just thinking about Chip's Challenge around the middle of last week, and wanting to play it.
