Spencer of Ghost Volta: "Angvik is a bit of an oddity. It’s absolutely a platformer, but it manages to harbor the soul of an RPG without many of the features that could come alongside the role playing genre. Its story even feels ripped out of a medieval RPG, placing you into the shoes of the son of a father forced out of his castle by a barbarian lord. Naturally, in true RPG fashion, you’ll choose the “class” of your father at the beginning, which will decide what items get passed onto you, with each class possessing a vastly different playstyle."
Joseph Dwan writes: Every year the winter sale comes around and the front page is filled with great deals for some of the top games of the year, and then some, but there are over 6000 specials on Steam right now. Going through these games reveals some absolute rubbish, arguably not even worth their miniscule price tag. So, here are my top 5 games you probably haven’t thought of getting, which you could probably buy just by selling those Steam trading cards off, in no particular order.
I got GT legends and gtr 2 for 99p each and they're an awesome sim. Absolute bargain!
I already picked up Toki Tori a while ago and LYNE yesterday but I'll be sure to pick up DEFCON for 0.99 which is usually $10. Very good list there and thanks for the article.

There are difficult games and there are games that try to do hair pulling while we send to every corner of hell. Angvik is the second type of game, something that seems to have been intentional and part of speech of its creators. The premise is simple. The castle was taken by a barbarian and nobody can stop beyond us.
Ricky from Twinfinite writes, "Angvik tries so hard to be so hard that it forgets what makes hard fun, and totally and completely falls apart because of it."
