The Geek Link writes - Thinking back to when Windows 95 first came out, games were bundled in with the then-new operating systems. Most will recall Ski Free or Solitaire, but many recall Chip’s Adventure. The puzzle game gave the player different stages based around getting keys to escape each chamber. Now, a spiritual sequel has arrived in the form of Niffler’s Chuck’s Challenge 3D. Another success story from Kickstarter, Chip’s Adventure creator Chuck Sommerville brought back the style of play that was made famous back in the day, but while updating it for a new generation of puzzle solvers.
Chuck’s Challenge 3D is basically a well-executed puzzle game (in terms of artwork and gameplay). The gameplay is pretty darn addictive which will require you to solve puzzles using different strategies as it incorporates various elements besides moving blocks round. Elements such as unlocking different parts of the puzzle by using keys, barriers, environment features and portals, as well as moving elements as the game progresses. Each level has a certain type puzzle in the elements used which makes it more interesting as you will eventually have to combine previous strategies and elements to solve these levels.

It’s certainly not a new idea (it is the spiritual successor to Chip’s Challenge, an old PC game by the same creator), but an old idea done well can still be worthwhile."
Chuck's Challenge 3D is inspired by a very old game for PC. The concept remained the same but now has a current graphics quite nice. It is a puzzle game that works very well on mobile platforms but is also quite enjoyable to play on PC. The story as you would expect in a puzzle game is very simple, serving only to give some context to the game.
