LGN "bitComposer and Games Farm have revealed their new action-RPG Shadows Heretic: Kingdoms, is expected to arrive in Q4 for the PC. Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms takes place after the events of Kult Heritic Kingdoms, hack ‘n’ slash RPG which was released way back in 2005."
From GameWatcher: "Last week Kalypso teased a mysterious new game that we in our cleverness identified as a sequel to Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms, possibly called "Awakening". Well, we were right on the money, in all ways. Kalypso have now properly announced Shadows: Awakening, the next game in the Heretic Kingdoms series, which they will debut fully at Gamescom. And here's the shocker: it will be free to owners of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms.
Games Farm have bought back publishing rights to their title Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms and have celebrated by offering a discount and a explanation on what's happening.
Softpedia:
"Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms is an isometric action role-playing game that offers an interesting world to explore and some sweet novel gameplay mechanics to toy with.
The game continues developer Games Farm's Heretic Kingdoms series, showing a world in disarray, in a time of uneasy peace, following a long period of tyranny.
The basic premise of the game is one that we have seen many times throughout history. After the fall of a despotic regime, the rebellion takes its place, oftentimes enforcing an even tighter grip on the land and people."
Looks interesting...more ARPG's are always welcome!
