For that price! Nooooooo thx!!!

NobleRed3862d ago

Yep. 300 Euros is way to much.

Sure its a lot of money, but if you want to make an investment in your gaming, this offers a great solution. It works on everything and you can even plug-in a phone or MP3 player too. It can literally replace every other headset you own. People pay just as much for Beats or something like that, this solution is just as expensive but it works with your games too, there has to be some value in that.

SteelSeries H Wireless Gaming Headset - Hardware Review

Chalgyr's Game Room writes:

SteelSeries is at it again… The H-Wireless 7.1 Dolby-supporting surround sound headset takes the concept of "premium audio" and simply tosses it to the wind and resets the bar for what "quality" means in the world of gaming audio. I thought that when I reviewed the SteelSeries Anniversary Edition Siberia Elite headset last year that I knew what good audio sounded like; after all I have worked with some of the greatest manufacturers of audio equipment that money can buy and all of those years' worth of experience amounted to jaw-dropping when I first heard the Siberia Elites. The H-Wireless makes the Anniversary Edition Siberia Elite look like a set of bargain-bin, Cyber Monday freebie earbuds.

I only watched the video to the end because I'm in the market for a new headset and thought this would be a nice way to know more about these 3 headsets but the way is so annoying and was really freaking me out always messing with his hair geez.

Do a little research on your own, and you'll see that the Elite 800 isn't rated higher by consumers than several headsets that are much cheaper. Don't know about the Astro a50, though their headsets are generally well liked.

SteelSeries H Wireless Gaming Headphones Review | The Game Scouts

Tin Salamunic: Every gaming headphone manufacturer seems to boast about surround sound these days, but very few headsets actually deliver genuine spatial audio. SteelSeries’ Siberia Elite Prism (as well as the V3 Prism) are an exception, and are some of the best surround headphones we recently tested. However, nothing comes close to SteelSeries’ H Wireless gaming headphones. At $299.99, they aren’t cheap, but their auditory performance outshines every model in its class. Their Dolby capabilities are unparalleled, and come closest to replicating an actual surround speaker setup. For gamers looking to invest in a truly elite headset, it doesn’t get more premium than this. The SteelSeries H Wireless are the Ferrari of gaming headphones, and they support nearly every device on the market.
