Good point, we never had 1080p back in the day but that didn't stop us from enjoying good games.

However with that said its now 2014 and I think gamers should expect good quality throughout the medium so better res and fps along with great gameplay.

Unfortunately for MS, Sony has all aspects down and offering that experience at a cheaper price.

Except he has no point , it's the same games with graphic differences or games that dont use the only thing that would give a gameplay difference : kinect .

It's just a true yet vague statement , that works for everyone

I'm pretty sure most people capable of basic thought know he's talking about exclusives since they have no control over the design of 3rd party games.

Baka-akaB4143d ago (Edited 4143d ago )

Everyone with those basics knows he's just doing his PR control job .
Even only counting exclusive what gameplay differences do they bring so far (i'll give them one at least , drivatars)? They can't claim Nintendo's difference in gameplay philosophy and their quirks

Mikelarry4143d ago

obviously he gonna say that, if it was last gen when the 360 was outshining the ps3 on multi-platform games i bet he was saying this . HYPOCRITE

KrisButtar4143d ago

If every game had Kinect features, I think the resolution issue could be justified. The Kinect is already taking up resources, might as well put it to use.

As rich as Microsoft is they could pay the 3rd parties to stuff Kinect features into every multiplat. Then it wouldn't be so much about the resolution and people like Boyd wouldn't have to try so hard.

That's rich considering Ryse, great graphics but lack lustre gameplay.

Lol, maybe I'm becoming an old fart, but excessive violence in VR seems to bother me more than in flat games. Feels more visceral when you're looking a person in the eyes before mutilating them.

By no means am I trying to be a prude and saying these games shouldn't exist. I just play them more sparingly, need more breaks. I need some beautiful, refreshing & relaxing VR experiences too to balance them out so I don't feel so heavy.

I’m an old fart too. I couldn’t believe how violent saints and sinners was.

Don't forget they've put a lot of these on gamepass and ps plus so you can add that money to it. Good to see Sega going strong

Happy for sega ! I was expecting some kind of showing of their newer games at game fest but maybe they’re keeling it for TGS? Crazy taxi and jet set needs a trailer or something soon !!!
