All this nostalgic dreaming for games of yore is getting a little bit silly now. Rarely a day goes past when a release, particularly on the PC, does not intend to recreate some lost aspect of days gone by. It is true, we have not seen many turn-based party RPGs in recent years, especially outside of the smaller indie teams. Blackguards, developed and published by German studio Daedalic Entertainment (previously known for adventure titles such as the Deponia series and The Night of the Rabbit) aims to breath fresh life into the dusty genre, yet the resulting stale air simply reminds the player that the past was a more inviting place.
Humble Bundle just added three games to Humble Monthly’s Humble Trove. The games that were added include Blackguards, Broken Sword 4: The Angel of Death, Shady Knight.
The Humble Trove is a catalog of 60+ DRM-free games and Humble Originals. New titles are added every month as a perk for Humble Monthly subscribers. Humble Monthly subscribers are free to download and play the entire catalog.
Kalypso Media is bringing Daedalic Entertainment’s turn-based tactical RPG Blackguards to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this summer as Blackguards: Definitive Edition, the publisher announced.
Three years and 36 titles later, Daedalic celebrates the anniversary of their Steam debut with an insane sale.
Daedalic gives its fans so many reasons to play their games! Those guys are great!
This is awesome, if I didn't own a bunch of these I'd totally pick up a few titles. Blackguards 2 is especially good.
